Teacher Guide & Smart Board 2.0 Shortcuts

No software installation is required. Open your browser on PC, Mac, or iPad, and click the session time in Column 3 (Time) on Event Board (or Enter class on O2S Base) to enter the classroom 10 minutes early (when the status turns IN MINUTES).

1. Smart Board 2.0 Controls by Device

The 16:9 interactive canvas syncs strokes at 60fps across the entire classroom:

🛡️ 1-Second iPad Palm Rejection, Instant Text Cloning & Keyboard Shortcuts

• On iPad (Apple Pencil): O2S automatically ignores accidental finger/palm touches during pencil contact and for 1 full second (1000ms) after lifting the tip—so you can rest your hand naturally on the screen.
• 1-Step Text Cloning (Ctrl / Cmd + Drag): Hold Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) and drag any text box on the board to duplicate it instantly for student exercises (with clean single-layer text editing and built-in HanziWriter character practice grids).
• Keyboard Shortcuts: Press W (Pen), T (Text), 0 (Reset 100% Zoom), [ / ] (Decrease/Increase brush size), hold Space + Drag (Pan canvas), and press ? anytime to open the on-screen gesture guide.

2. Synced .mp3 Audio, Screen Share & Classroom Controls

• Auto-Resume Last Slide & Mark Done: Upon entering, Smart Board 2.0 opens directly to the slide where the previous session left off. Click Mark Done as you finish each page to record progress.
• Play Synced Lesson Audio: When you flip to a slide with paired .mp3 audio, the audio bar appears automatically. Clicking Play / Pause / Seek plays the audio in sync on every student's device.
• Full-Frame Screen Share Across Any Aspect Ratio: Smoothly share presentation slides (such as Canva), supplementary materials, videos, or interactive learning activities across 16:9, 16:10, or 4:3 screens without cropping; switch browser tabs seamlessly while sharing.
• Speaker Output & Background Blur: Switch headphones/speakers (Speaker Output) and enable camera blur or background removal right in the classroom settings menu. Both the Chat and Translator windows can be dragged freely and resized from any corner.

3. 30-Second Post-Class Wrap-Up

Right after class ends, complete 2 quick actions on your session row in Event Board:

1. Click 💬 (Column 11 Feedback): Submit brief learning feedback for the student.
2. Expand the row (▼ Column 1) → Next Material: Click ✓ Confirm to approve the next session's lesson (or adjust pages/lessons using the 7 quick-adjust chips).
